Pipe Connection Methods

According to the construction scenario, pipe diameter and installation conditions, we provide three professional connection methods, which take into account firmness, tightness and flexibility, suitable for various engineering needs:

 

Butt Fusion: This is a common connection method, suitable for large-diameter pipes. Use a special HDPE pipe welding machine to heat the two ends of the pipe to a molten state, then quickly butt and fuse them to integrate the two ends, so as to ensure the firmness and tightness of the connection, suitable for large-scale water supply projects such as municipal pipe networks.

 

Electrofusion Connection: Electrofusion connection is a method of connection using HDPE electrofusion pipe fittings, suitable for occasions where hot melt connection is not possible due to installation position restrictions. In this connection method, the same type of thermoplastic pipe is inserted into a special electrofusion pipe fitting. The electrofusion pipe fitting is energized by an electrofusion connection machine, and the resistance wire pre-embedded inside it generates the heat required for welding, so that the pipe and the pipe fitting are fused and combined, with simple operation and reliable connection.

 

Flange Connection: When it is necessary to connect HDPE pipes with other pipes or equipment, flange connection can be used. Flange connection tightly connects the two flange ends through bolts and gaskets, which is flexible to disassemble, convenient for later equipment maintenance and pipe inspection, suitable for industrial factories, water treatment equipment and other occasions that require more flexible connection.
